Elder Sign Board Game
Elder Sign is another board game made available by Fantasy Flight. It is about preventing Elder God from rising by gaining points through the game. The most difficult opponent will be the time before an Elder God rises. In this game, player will act as the hero character with the job to defeat monster, earn some trophies, and investigate some locations. The player or hero is able to take two types of damage, they are Health and Sanity.
If you are already familiar with board games, you will find out that loosing health comes easier than the other damage. By doing all the jobs mentioned, you will be able to earn Elder Sign that is functioned to prevent the rising of an Elder God.

Elder Sign – Indicator on Card
Each Elder God requires different amount of Elder Sign in order to prevent each of them from rising. Even if one Elder God has come up in the game, you will still have chance to put them back in custody. This is where knowledge about the indicators is essential. The details are as follows:
- The text given on the bottom left of the card shows the effects can be taken by the heroes when they are being in an attempt to prevent Elder God from rising.
- The center of the card is showing blue stars that indicate the amount of Elder Signs you need to collect.
- The right side of the card has 10 spots indicating the amount of dooms taken left before Elder God rises.
- The bottom right of the card gives texts about the consequences when Elder God has risen and attacks. The 10 spots in the right side give clear indications about the amount of dooms to be eliminated in order to put the Elder God back to the grave.
Elder Sign – Investigating Locations
Elder Sign Board Game has many locations to investigate in each turn. There are 6 locations available to investigate. All that you have to do is matching the symbols of each location with the symbols in the dice. You have to roll the dice with matching results to be considered finishing the investigations. There will be awards for the successful attempts as well as punishments for failing the investigation.
The symbols given in the bottom right of the location show the awards to be given. In the bottom left, there are symbols indicating punishments or bad stuffs to be received. Elder Sign game provides six green dices and allows you to add 2 more dices when you have the card to let you have the privilege to do so.
